Though he’s perhaps one of the most influential artists in “modern pop” and adult alternative circles, Lynch has extensive formal music training. Motivated by Andres Segovia’s traditional electric guitar recordings, Lynch examined the device in Barcelona, Spain, in the first ’60s. He afterwards attended the School of Texas being a structure student.
