An associate of the full total Knowledge Gospel Choir who had a time job being a golf trainer, singer Ray Dalton was lifted in to the Top 40 by hip-hop when he joined up with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis on the single “Can’t Keep Us.” The Seattle citizen wasn’t an entire stranger to hip-hop, as he previously joined up with the hip-hop and jazz fusion group Dyno Jamz for his debut documenting, performing the connect on the 2010 one “Kingdom Arrive.” In 2011, he was approached by rapper Macklemore via social media and was asked to donate to the monitors “Wings” and “Can’t Keep Us,” both of these landing in the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis record The Heist. In 2012, the album’s “Thrift Store” one would make the duo superstars, with “Can’t Keep Us” re-released as the follow-up one in 2013 (it acquired originally been released in 2011, but didn’t make a direct effect). After Dalton became a member of the group to execute the tune on the tv screen show Saturday Evening Live, “Can’t Keep Us” topped the U.S. graphs.
