Raury

Raury is a free-spirited vocalist, rapper, guitarist, songwriter, and maker who was simply raised in Rock Hill, Georgia, roughly 20 kilometers outdoors Atlanta. He mixes alternate folk, rap, and digital music while keeping track of the diverse wants of Opportunity the Rapper, Ruler Krule, and Lorde as contemporaries. While in senior high school, he performed guitar inside a cover music group, but his ambition quickly outgrew that wall plug. In 2014, the entire year Raury graduated from senior high school, he threw an 18th birthday music event he dubbed Raurfest, released a free of charge digital-download mixtape (Indigo Kid), announced his cope with major-label Columbia, and added to SBTRKT’s Question Where We Property. His actions, and his wish to create not really a fresh genre but a fresh culture, were encouraging enough to make a long-list nomination for the BBC Sound of 2015 poll.
