Raulin Rosendo

A Dominican Republic-born sonero transplanted to NEW YORK, salsa celebrity Raulin Rosendo was created in Santo Domingo on August 30, 1957. Steeped within the rhythms of Afro-Antilles music throughout his child years, he started his performing profession at age 12 as an associate from the merengue group Un Chivo y Su Banda, later on appearing with functions including Fernandito Villalona, Conjunto Clásico, and Los Vecinos. Referred to as “the Upset Sonero,” Rosendo produced his single debut with 1991’s Salsa, Solamente Salsa; by 1993 he was saving in NY with maker Ricky Gonzalez, rating the strikes “Amor en Secreto” and “Santo Domingo.” The next achievement of albums including ¡Lo Maximo!, 1996’s Dominicano Em virtude de Un Mundo, 1997’s ¡Contrópast due!, and 1998’s Llego la Ley founded him among the largest salsa performers of the time. Donde Me Coja la Noche adopted in 1999; following releases possess included Raulin en Venezuela (2001), Fama Sera Peligrosa (2003), Mujer Como Tu (2005), and Dame Otra Oportunidad (2006).
