Toronto drummer Randy Cooke was initially subjected to the instrument at a age via his father, who was simply a snare drummer within the pipe band the Toronto Scottish. But Cooke didn’t commence to grab the device until he was an adolescent, when he became a member of the Cadet Lancers of Etobicoke drum corp. When he was 15, Cooke received his initial full drum established and begun to play in a number of college bands, in addition to acquiring lessons from renowned blues drummer Rick Gratton. Immediately after, Cooke became a member of his 1st touring music group — the funk/reggae clothing Stage IV (that was comprised of college buddies), playing the Toronto region greatly before Cooke started playing frequently with English blues legend Very long John Baldry. This resulted in regular session work with Cooke, as he’s used a multitude of significant artists over time, including Sas Jordan, Alanis Morissette, Marc Jordan, Honeymoon vacation Collection, Rik Emmett, and Chris Spedding, amongst others.
