Naka (given birth to Ramiro Gomes Dias) is among the few performers from Guinea-Bissau to accomplish a way of measuring international popularity. A vocalist and guitarist, Naka created his first music group N’Kassa Cobra in the first ’70s and performed addresses of African pop tunes. After a stint in Lisbon, he resolved in Paris, where he founded himself like a single performer. His audio is dependant on the ceremonial tempo of Guinea-Bissau referred to as gumbe, although he takes on in a number of styles which range from rock and roll to origins. An exuberant performer, he offers more recently relocated toward growing his instrumental repertoire. He could be noticed on Salvador.
