Ramesses

Ramesses, from Dorset, Britain, owe their very presence to a desire to have revenge. For nearly ten years, Ramesses founders Tim Bagshaw (acoustic guitar) and Tag Greening (drums) constituted the tempo section of famous doom trio Electric powered Wizard (Bagshaw was the bassist); however when years of developing strife finally resulted in the duo’s acrimonious sacking/quitting (based on who you inquire) by bandmate Jus Oborn in past due 2003, their fresh course was arranged. Within times, the pair experienced recruited bassist/vocalist Adam Richardson (ex-Lord of Putrefaction, Thy Grief Eternal) and started focusing on their personal psychedelic doom/sludge eyesight, premiered on 2005’s We Will Cause you to Glorious Occasions EP, and reprised quickly thereafter via 2007’s Misanthropic Alchemy LP. In the interim, Ramesses experienced criss-crossed the U.K. on the 2006 tour with Sourvein (another jilted enthusiast in these drama, having dropped guitarist Liz Buckingham to Electric powered Wizard), and spent 2008 assisting their debut full-length with looks (and some no displays) at main European metal celebrations. This year 2010, the trio came back with another album entitled Consider the Curse.
