Raintown

Some folks think about country music as something purely American, Paul Bain and Claire McArthur are determined to remind people that country comes with an international appeal, so that as the leaders of the group Raintown, they’ve brought the Nashville sound with their hometown of Glasgow, Scotland. The set began producing music in ’09 2009, plus they produced their documenting debut the next year using the record Hope in Stressed Times, released over the unbiased Raintown Companions label. Bain and McArthur’s tuneful but passionate music and their solid, subtly emotive duet vocals gained Raintown a pursuing over the U.K. nation scene, as well as the set, backed with a five-piece music group, became a favorite touring appeal. In 2011, Raintown had been asked to perform on the Global Musician Party event at the united states Music Association’s annual CMA Fest in Nashville, Tennessee, producing them the just U.K. action over the costs.
