Raintime

Detail-oriented Italian death metalists Raintime shaped in 1999. Influenced by their common like of Dream Theatre, Claudio Coassin (keyboards), Luca Michael Martina (acoustic guitar), Matteo Di Bon (acoustic guitar), and Michele Colussi (bass) shaped the primary of Raintime and documented the instrumental demonstration “Jump before.” Immediately after the demonstration sessions had been over, the music group experienced a lineup modification, with Coassin shifting from keyboards to vocals, fresh drummer Enrico Fabris signing up for the fray, and Andrea Corona overtaking keyboard responsibilities. As their audio moved right into a wider range (plus they maintained an ongoing interest in intensifying steel), the impact of Scandinavian melodic/severe metal as well as the riffs and guts of metalcore and thrash discovered their way in to the combine. They released their debut record, Stories from Sadness, on Arise Information in 2005 and implemented it up with Flies & Lays, made by Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Very Maids) and released over the Lifeforce label in 2007.
