Rai Knight

Hailing from your Detroit suburb of Warren, MI, singer/songwriter Rai Knight continues to be on an extended musical journey. Encircled by great pop music as a youngster, Knight found motivation in the tunes from the Beatles, David Bowie, and Michael Jackson, ultimately understanding how to play acoustic guitar and piano in order that she could someday make her personal music. After some musical soul-searching around the Western Coastline and in Scotland, she came back to Detroit to produce a go at a profession as a single artist. This year 2010 she authorized with FrontStreet Information and began discovering a far more dance/R&B sound similar to Gwen Stefani’s single function. That same season, she started launching singles as part of the label’s 52/50 singles collection.
