Rage

The German rock outfit, Rage, originally shaped in the first ’80s, and even though the group has issued albums on a reliable basis since, lead singer/bassist Peter “Peavey” Wagner may be the just original member still in attendance. First referred to as Avenger, the group released a set of recordings (Prayer of Metal and Depraved to Dark) before switching their name to Trend, to avoid misunderstandings with a English music group of the same name. 1986’s Reign of Dread signaled the group’s 1st album to become released under their fresh name, because they continuing on within the same weighty hitting musical path on subsequent produces; although they utilized some orchestral flourishes on the past due-’90s experimental albums Lingua Mortis (1996) and XIII (1999).
