Radford

Post-grunge quartet Radford took its moniker from the center name of lead singer Jonny Mead, who emigrated to LA from his indigenous Oxford, England in 1995. Mead became a member of up with guitarist Chris Hower and bassist Bobby Stefano by way of a categorized advertisement, and finally resolved on drummer Kane McGee. Radford agreed upon to RCA in nov 1998 on the effectiveness of their demos and concert shows, and landed tunes on the succession of film soundtracks in 1999: “Nearer to Myself” in Clubland rather than Been Kissed, and “Fall at THE FEET” in Teaching Mrs. Tingle. The band’s self-titled debut recording was finally released in the springtime of 2000.
