Rabbit in the Moon

Somewhere within performance art and dancefloor trance, Rabbit within the Moon was formed in Orlando, FL, simply by frontman Bunny with suppliers Monk (Steve McClure) and Confucius (David Christophere). Related however you like to Keith Flint’s position as nominal frontman for the Prodigy, Bunny provides a lot of the visible entertainment through the act’s frenetic live display — his outfits more commensurate with a horror film when compared to a rave — while McClure and Christophere look after all the development. The trio documented many singles for Hallucination before debuting on Hardkiss Information using the 1994 solitary “Phases of the From Body Encounter.” Rabbit within the Moon offered remixes for a variety of performers, including Goldie, Orbital, Sarah McLachlan, White Zombie, Cosmic Baby, and Garbage — many gathered on Rabbit within the Moon Remixes, Vol. 1. The trio also collaborated with Humate on a set of singles for Superstition, and in 1999 released the full-length FlooriD.A., and a sequel with their first remix collection, aptly entitled Remixes, Vol. 2.
