Quinteto Villa-Lobos

Hardwood and brass quintet specialized in exploring the cable connections between Brazilian popular and classical music, the Quinteto Villa-Lobos started it is actions in 1962 with the effort of bassoonist Airton Barbosa, burning the musical objective Caravana Cultural de Pascoal Carlos Magno. With Marco Pereira, Gilson Peranzzetta, Joyce, Guinga, and Água de Moringa, in 2001 the group documented the Compact disc Quinteto Villa-Lobos Convida, documenting new tracks by Joyce, Guinga, Peranzzetta, and Marco Pereira, and classics by Pixinguinha, Jacob perform Bandolim, and Ernesto Nazareth.
