Quimi Portet

Quimi Portet is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist given birth to in Vich (Barcelona) in 1957. From in early stages, Portet was involved with more information on local bands, especially Los Rápidos and Los Burros, but really became well-known during his tenure in Un Último de la Fila, a duo with Manolo García that continued to become one of the most critically and commercially effective Spanish pop action from the 1980s. Portet released his initial solo record, 1987’s Persones Estranyes, through the heyday of EUDLF, but just focused on his single career following the duo divide in 1997. By 2012 he previously released seven even more albums, all graced by his brand love of life and penchant for surrealist lyrics. He’s also a well-known Catalan manufacturer.
