Quiet Life

Blessed in the whaling city of New London, Connecticut, and structured from the hirsute, indie folk hub that’s Portland, Oregon, Calm Lifestyle specializes in wide-open, twang-kissed, Pacific Northwest Americana in the vein from the Lumineers, Mind as well as the Heart, Shovels & Rope, and Trampled by Turtles. Produced in 2006 by brothers Sean (vocals and guitars) and Ryan Spellman (drums plus some performing), along with bassist Paul Dutton and guitarist Craig Rupert, the quartet released its debut record, Act Organic, in 2007. Big Green found its way to 2011, accompanied by their third long-player, Crazy Pack, in 2013.
