Close friends since their youth times in Durham, NC, Johnny Irion (vocals, electric guitar), Ryan Pickett (electric guitar), Chris Hollaway (bass), and Zeke Hutchins (drums) held their initial rehearsals for Queen Sarah Sunday in 1990. Thirsty Hearing released the band’s debut EP in August 1993, implemented one year afterwards with the full-length Weave. Even though band’s messy, melodic power pop hardly ever found a nationwide audience, the melody “Seems” was memorably highlighted within the 1995 film Empire Information, and frontman Johnny Irion continued to take pleasure from a modest profession with his single albums and collaborative tasks with wife Sarah Lee Guthrie.
