Havana-born Qbanito channeled components of hip-hop, French pop, and traditional Middle Eastern music to make a distinctively multicultural interpretation of modern Latin R&B. Created Neiver Alberto Alvarez in 1979, he spent nearly all his adolescence in Cuba, as a teenager becoming enthusiastic about American rap. At 17, he and his sister relocated to Montreal to reunite using their father, as well as the myriad fresh musical affects at his removal profoundly formed his burgeoning Cuban rap sensibilities. After a tenure using the group Cuban Convoy, in early 2005 Qbanito installed a solo profession, making programs to relocate to Miami before a Montreal manufacturer passed his demonstration tape along to General Music France, which quickly expanded a contract give. Qbanito released his debut LP, Partir, in early 2006. A Spanish-language discharge, Adivina Quien Llegó, attained U.S. retail afterwards that year.
