Pushcar

The Californian contemporary rock group Pushcar originally began in 1983 beneath the moniker Curse Toast, but songwriting pals Chris Farrell and Jim Saunders led themselves from the faculty hangouts to be perhaps one of the most recognized SoCal bar bands through the entire later ’80s and early ’90s. Anthony Mondello became a member of the music group in 1990 along with a self-titled debut was released three years afterwards; Two Words implemented in 1996. That same calendar year, Curse Toast released Sterling silver Spork, which attained moderate airplay on university radio, ahead of their break up in 1998. Saunders was also controlling amount of time in the hardcore music group Second Thoughts. It had been during this time period that Pushcar was conceived, with Saunders and Farrell teaming up once more, Mondello on electric guitar, and newcomer Damon Marshall on drums. The band’s debut House D premiered that same calendar year. Round Sound, that was set alongside the prefers of Olivia Tremor Control and Radiohead, made an appearance in early 2001.
