While her previous band, Ipso Facto, always had a feeling of drama about any of it, Rosalie Cunningham moved into a far more theatrical direction with the forming of Purson — she describes the band as focusing on “vaudeville carny psych”. Discovering the globe of proto-metal, the British band weaves jointly affects like Cream, Deep Crimson, and Jethro Tull right into a quasi-mystical pastiche of psychedelic question composed of fuzzed-out guitars and Wurlitzer organs.
