Biography

The experimental Uk duo Psapp (pronounced sap) features guitarist/producer Carim Clasmann and vocalist/keyboardist/violinist Galia Durant. Jointly, they develop a captivating, indie pop-influenced mixture of sultry vocals and quirky digital beats. Tiger, MY PAL marked Psapp’s record debut for Leaf in 2004. 2 yrs afterwards, Psapp jumped dispatch towards the Domino label (house to Franz Ferdinand, the Arctic Monkeys, and Clearlake) for the discharge of the second album. THE THING I Ever Wished found its way to June 2006, highlighting a far more focused style to Psapp’s friendly, innovative energy, and stateside schedules with Juana Molina and José Gonzalez coincided using its discharge that summer months. Psapp’s reputation also received a lift from the property of prime-time tv, which the music group had first got into in 2005 (when their melody “Cosy within the Rocket” was selected because the theme melody for the ABC play Grey’s Anatomy). As Psapp’s music continuing to attract brand-new listeners, the duo came back to the documenting studio room to helm their third record, The Camel’s Back again, that was released in Britain in past due 2008 and early 2009 within the U.S..
