Project Grudge

Placing himself like a one-man ensemble of rock and roll & move and |techno-industrial, Mattias Johansson required the alias of Task Grudge after spending quite a few years in various rings in Malmo, Sweden. Using the self-titled explanation of “weighty plastic material,” Johansson started Task Grudge in 1998 after gathering several synthesizers, computer systems, and guitars to make a heavy level of electronica with a range of lyrics filled up with conspiracy and paranoia. After self-releasing two demos, Medea Information debuted Task Grudge’s initial full-length, entitled Grudge, just a season after Johansson proceeded to go single. Between You & Truth marked his initial major-label discharge for Orchard in early 2001.
