Prince Bakaradi

Named following the villain inside a 50s science-fiction series, Prince Bakaradi had been shaped in Berkeley, California, USA, in 1970 by Fred Sokolow (guitar/vocals; ex-Notes THROUGH THE Underground) and Tag Mandell (acoustic guitar; ex-Notes THROUGH THE Underground), Fred Stevens (bass) and John Macino (drums). Their fusion of blues and rock and roll made small impression plus they finished their brief profession support topless dancers at San Francisco’s Candour Golf club. Nevertheless, when Sokolow and Mandell started collaborating on the publication about the 60s, they made a decision to revive the group. Roly Salley (acoustic guitar), Alan MacGill (bass) and Don Heffington (drums) followed them on Prince Bakaradi, released on an expert Italian label. It consisted primarily of original tracks first played from the founding line-up.
