Primitive Parts

Primitive Parts certainly are a London-based rock trio comprising Male Bonding alumni Kevin Hendrick (guitar) and Robin Religious (drums) and Sauna Youth member Lindsay Corstorphine (vocals/guitar). The genesis for the music group goes back to 2012 when the three had been working jointly at an archive store in Crouch End. Their preliminary idea was to start out a project that may resemble “Stiff Information in the ’60s.” Citing a multitude of influences just like the Kinks, the UV Competition, Swell Maps, and early Brian Eno, they released a small number of singles in early 2014, ultimately signing a cope with esteemed indie Difficulty in Mind Information in early 2015. Documented only to analog tape during the period of a couple of days, their debut LP, Parts Primitive, premiered afterwards that year.
