Previously on Lost

With frenetic, oddball pop tunes like “Ballad of Sayid Jarrah” and “The Island Won’t ENABLE YOU TO Die,” Previously on Lost rose to prominence by composing music recaps from the ABC tv program Lost. The group was created in 2007 by Adam Schatz and Jeff Curtin, two Brooklyn-based music artists with an ear for melody and an appeal to all points eccentric. Both first fulfilled while focusing on Champollion, an area opera/ballet inspired from the teachings of Carl Sagan, and thought we would continue their collaboration as the co-founders of Previously on Shed, a seven-piece music group whose music recounted the display’s knotty storyline lines. Boasting a zany audio that evoked the Flaming Lip area, Frank Zappa, and toon soundtracks, Previously on Shed became popular with the display’s dedicated group of fans, resulting in many sold-out displays in NEW YORK and a great deal of media attention.
