Present certainly are a Belgian outfit formed by guitarist/composer Roger Trigaux. In 1974 Trigaux co-founded the chamber rock and roll group Univers No with drummer Daniel Denis. Trigaux still left Univers No in 1979 to create Present with pianist Alain Rochette. Denis performed in both Univers No and Present. Bassist Christian Genet performed in the band’s initial LP, Triskaïdékaphobie (concern with the quantity 13), documented and blended between January and could 1980 and released afterwards that year with the Atem label.
