This US glam-metal rock-band was formed in LA, California, in the mid-80s. They found the open public’s interest via their 1985 debut, THE FOLLOWING, Right Now, that was made by AOR maker and guitar-hero Paul Sabu. An all-female clothing, they presented Leslie Wasser (vocals), Janet Robin (acoustic guitar), Mara Fox (acoustic guitar), Alex Rylance (bass) and Carol Control (drums). Unfairly classified alongside 70s feminine clothing the Runaways, PLATINUM go about forging a genuine style. These were hampered with this by the shortcoming from the hard rock and roll press to activate critically with feminine bands far beyond apparent comparisons and aesthetic elements. Their second and third recording releases shown that, at least, there was even more potential at the job than these were being provided credit for.
