Pound Foolish

The young Christian rockers in Pound Foolish bang aloud nu-metal tracks overlaid with angst-ridden yet firmly devotional lyric lines. During concert events, they whale on the musical instruments and scream in to the mikes exactly like every other up-and-coming Southern California brat rock-band — almost. With regards to onstage outfits, the band people veer a long way away off their mainstream contemporaries, choosing rather for baggy full-length white jumpsuits. Aesthetically, it’s Angels-With-Dirty-Faces-meets-Con-Air. Sonically, it’s Korn-meets-Billy-Graham at this time, though the music group is young but still changing. The San Diego-based foursome was highlighted for the Month of August soundtrack, that was released on Angelic Music in 2002.
