Potty Mouth

After playing in a few bands, Ally Einbinder attempt to form an all-girl punk band, frustrated with a number of the limitations and discomforts she sensed playing in bands without completely female membership. Linking up with guitarist/vocalist Abby Weems, drummer Victoria Mandanas, and guitarist Phoebe Harris, bassist Einbinder shaped Potty Mouth area in mid-2011, a quartet using a audio rooted in moody ’90s indie rock and roll, the SST catalog, plus some reflections from the spirit from the riot grrrl motion. They got their name through the title of the record by seminal riot grrrl group Bratmobile, though in interviews they rejected any overt politics agenda. Some people still within their teenagers, the group performed out and documented frequently, issuing sunlight Harm EP on 12″ vinyl fabric in 2012 and operating toward the discharge of their 2013 full-length debut, Hell Bent.
