Port Blue

Slot Blue can be an instrumental, ambient saving task by Minnesota-based musician Adam Adolescent. Young started using the Slot Blue name around once as his better-known Owl Town project was initially gathering popularity in 2007. The mainly electronic-based Slot Blue tunes are explained by Young to be “dreamscapes” and he considers these to become the music of “elevators, resort lobbies, international airports, museums, and restaurants inside my mind.” He released his 1st full-length recording, Airship, in 2007, accompanied by the Albatross EP in 2008. A lot of Young’s Slot Blue output continues to be uploaded by means of singles and EPs to sites like SoundCloud and hasn’t received the official launch. Such was the case along with his 2013 EP The Pacific.
