Polka Dot Dot Dot’s eclectic, extra, and primitive audio, rooted as very much in old-timey music since it is within ’60s girl organizations, nods to artists as disparate as Bon Iver, the All Lady Summer Fun Music group, and P:ano. Jordan O’Jordan, Onyx of Olympia, and Miss Spindleheart, all natives of Olympia, WA, created the group in early 2007 throughout a stint in Auckland, New Zealand. Their debut full-length, Like Notice to New Zealand, premiered on Bicycle Information that 12 months. The band continued a short hiatus immediately after the recording premiered as O’Jordan pursued a doctoral system. Polka Dot Dot Dot’s second launch, the Springtime of Alchemy and Amory EP, arrived in 2008.
