Point Line Plane

Portland’s synth-core clothing Point Line Aircraft features vocalist/keyboardist Josh Blanchard, drummer Nathan Carson, and keyboardist/multi-instrumentalist Howard Gillam. Blanchard in addition has used the Sensualists, Mome Raths, as well as the Kremlin Bronx; Carson can be an associate of Witch Hill, and Gillam also performs as Supersprite. The group started like a duo, with Blanchard and Carson’s mixture of no influx sound and old-school analog synths recalling rings like Trans Am aswell as Amounts and Experimental Oral College, both whom possess performed with Stage Line Aircraft. A break up EP with the earth The on Mountastic Information (also the house of Witch Hill) laid the groundwork for Stage Range Plane’s full-length, self-titled debut, which found its way to summer season 2003. Gillam became a member of the music group throughout their tour assisting that album, as well as the music group rounded out the entire year having a 7″ on S-S Information and appearances on the Fort Hazel Magic compilation, and a Screamers tribute recording from Xeroid/Extravertigo. With participant Gillam aboard, Stage Line Plane’s Smoke cigarettes Signals saw launch on Pores and skin Graft in Fall of 2004.
