Pleasurehead

Pleasurehead, the so-called “Trance Perculator,” established a cult-like following in the brand new York area along with his numerous DJ performances at area celebrations. Originally a hip-hop fanatic, the DJ was originally referred to as MC Pleasure Mind, but exchanged the mike for turntables after hearing an early on Frankie Bone fragments mixtape from the first ’90s. As time passes he gravitated toward trance instead of techno, home, or drum’n’bass due to its affective features and produced quick inroads in to the New York-area party picture. He handed down out demonstration tapes at whatever party he’d attend, and finally an extended Island-based production firm, Smooth Grooves, provided him the break he required. Over time of rotating at celebrations, Pleasurehead united with Topaz Information for Trance Generator, his initial nationally distributed combine album.
