Although their origins could be traced dating back to 1995, Swedish prog-pop-thrashers Platitude (actually, doesn’t the name choice say everything?) labored in obscurity until 2002, if they finally guaranteed a cope with Italy’s Scarlet Information. There implemented two albums, 2003’s Secrets of Lifestyle and 2004’s Nine, which noticed the septet (comprising vocalist Erik “EZ” Blomkvist, guitarists Daniel Hall and Gustav Kollerstrom, bassist Patrik Jansson, drummer Marcus Hoher, keyboardist Andreas Lindahl, and synthesizer participant/support vocalist Kristoffer “Wachen” Von Wachenfeldt) made by veteran steel sound-smith Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Hatesphere, etc.).
