Plan 9

Offering four guitars along with a appear straight from those psychedelic ’60s, Rhode Island’s Program 9 handled little except for period covers on the first album, 1982’s Frustration. The group added a batch of originals on COPING WITH the Deceased, and spent another two albums compiling early singles (Strategy 9) and documenting their live display (I’ve Simply Killed a guy, I Don’t Want to Discover Any Meats). Strategy 9 started to add remnants of hard rock and roll with 1985’s REMAIN CALM & Browse the Guidelines, but after switching to Enigma, the group stripped its ’60s affects and started sounding just like a basic old rock-band.
