Ann Arbor, Michigan’s Pity Sex draw through the fuzzy distorted sound of ’90s alternate rock, capturing components of sound pop, indie pop, and shoegaze in a variety of amounts. The group — guitarist/vocalist Brittany Drake, guitarist/vocalist Brennan Greaves, drummer Sean St. Charles, and bassist Brandan Pierce — released their 1st EP, Dark Globe, in 2012, and adopted it up using the recording Feast of Like in 2013 for Work for Cover Information. The recording drew very reviews that are positive from over the panel, and their following launch was a break up EP in 2014 using the music group Adventures, which they protected the Pixies’ traditional “Gigantic.” In 2015, the music group headed from tour with fellow shoegazers Wedding ceremony and documented their second record in Pa with maker Will Yip. Entitled White Popular Moon, the recording premiered by Operate for Cover in Apr of 2016.
