Pitch Black City

Another task involving significant insight from producer Kenny Dixon Jr. (aka Moodymann), Pitch Dark City were a loose collaborative entity with many Detroit music artists — including percussionist Andrés, vocalist Roberta Sweed, and keyboardist Amp Fiddler — in over the actions. A one-sided 12″ acknowledged to Pitch Dark City made an appearance on Dixon’s Mahogani label in 2003; additionally, PBC was highlighted on a monitor off Moodymann’s Silence in the trick Backyard LP, released exactly the same calendar year on Peacefrog.
