After other projects by each member (including encoding on the Eliminating Joke record in 1994), ambient dub duo Pitch Dark was formed in New Zealand in 1997 by Paddy Free of charge and Michael Hodgson. Their debut recording, Futureproof, premiered in Sept 1999 and accompanied by Electronomicon in August 2000. Ape to Angel became the 1st U.S. launch from your duo, after becoming released by KOG Information in Oct 2004.
