Pinq

The gentlemen of Pinq formed in 1998 following the demise of indie rock loudmouths Goldenrod and aimed for spiritual musical journey. Tim Mitchell (vocals/acoustic guitar), Ben Montesano (drums), and Greg Bertens (bass) trudged around their indigenous San Francisco through the past due ’90s. Andrew Simas became a member of on keyboards simply with time to record a demonstration, but was quickly changed by multi-instrumentalist Tad Ro by middle-2000. By this time around, Pinq had easily discovered something dark and deep, and engineer John Croslin (Mates of Condition, Spoon) tweaked and learned that for the debut record entitled Quiet Video games for WARM WEATHER. Peppercorn’s Kurt Hobson and AM Magic’s Mike Alexis finished Pinq’s tempo section by another calendar year and grouped jointly for the correct release of Calm Games for WARM WEATHER in springtime 2002.
