Pink Playground

Green Playground is a Houston, Texas-based duo that sources ‘80s shoegaze and sound play their music. Like My Bloody Valentine, Cocteau Twins, as well as the Jesus and Mary String, revivalists Tara Tyson and Adam Wing make dreamy, washed-out melodies buried in sonic textures of electric guitar. Rather than playing displays live, both opted to make use of videos to market their music, complementing their tune “Come Discover Me” to video footage through the 1968 French film Le Révélateur. In 2011, after launching the 7″ singles Sunny Skies and Ten, Green Playground released their debut record, Destination Ecstasy, on Mexican Summertime.
