Pimpinela

The Argentine duo of Lucía and Joaquín Galán, collectively referred to as Pimpinela, experienced an extended and hit-filled career, we were young together, recording their first album in 1981, rather than looking back again as their popularity within the Spanish-speaking world snowballed. Both talk about vocals and co-writing credits on a lot of their music, which mix Latin pop using the impact of musical movie theater and telenovelas. With over twelve albums with their credit (not keeping track of compilations), the Galáns display no signals of slowing in the brand new millennium.
