Brooklyn post-punk experimentalists Tablet were shaped in 2014 by singer/bassist Veronica Torres, guitarist Jonathan Campolo, saxophonist Benjamin Jaffe, and drummer Andrew Spaulding. A heady mixture of sound rock, no influx, free of charge jazz, and punk, Tablet deliver a colourful globe of colliding politics, character, and melody. Their self-titled debut found its way to 2015 via Dull Equipment, the label operate by Parquet Courts’ Andrew Savage. They shortly agreed upon with Mexican Summertime, which released their full-length LP, Comfort, a year afterwards.
