Biography

Philip Krumm studied with Raymond Moses and Frank Sturchio in St. Mary’s School and finished his graduate research with Ross Lee Finney on the School of Michigan. He also made up with Karlheinz Stockhausen at U.C. Davis. He shown new music celebrations in the McNay Artwork Institute with “Blue” Gene Tyranny in past due the ’50s and early ’60s. He traveled with ONCE Group, appeared with Yoko Ono, George Brecht, and Terry Jennings at Carnegie Hall. He trips with Jerry Hunt, including to Roger Shattuck’s Pataphysics Event in Austin, TX. He was the sponsor for a decade of the air display Musica Nova on Tx Public Radio and it has possessed the Clipper Dispatch Book Shop in San Antonio, TX, since 1982.
