Philip Chaffin

Singer/professional Philip Chaffin was created and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. Shifting to LA after graduating from university, he was ensemble in a creation of Hit Up the Music group, soon after getting a berth as the vocalist with Ray Conniff & His Orchestra, employment he kept for 3 years, where he toured the globe. In 1997, he transferred to NY, where he begun to function in musical movie theater, producing his Broadway debut in Dec of that calendar year as an associate from the ensemble in the staged concert edition of Alan Menken and Tim Rice’s Ruler David. Furthermore to numerous performances in local productions of classic musicals (Out, Damn Yankees, Oklahoma!, etc.), he made an appearance on studio solid recordings (Pardon My British, Over time, Tell Me Even more) and, in November 2000, released his 1st solo recording, Where SHOULD I Proceed from You? The recording marked the start of PS Classics, a label Chaffin shaped with maker Tommy Krasker that quickly began documenting Broadway cast albums and recordings by additional display music performers; Chaffin became its A&R movie director. In 2005, PS Classics released his second single album, Warm Springtime Night.
