Stage III was shaped after Love Culture ran its program in the first ’70s. This music group was fronted by vocalist/guitarist Keith Abler and boasted a far more jangly and mature type of psychedelic-influenced rock and roll. “Back the U.S.A.” was presumably their response to “Back the USSR” which, along with “Employed in a Coal Mine” and their reworking of George Harrison’s “Taxman,” proven a primary of performers developing their art. Abler, Hassinger, and bassist Larry Baldock would later on become people of Sunblind Lion.
