Phantoms

A Los Angeles-based EDM duo featuring the abilities of Kyle Kaplan and Vinnie Pergola, Phantoms deliver icy/sizzling hot electro-dance beats using a dash of techno and heavy dosage of pop hooks. Close friends since the age group of 15, the set dabbled in the Disney aspect of the tv screen and film sector — Kaplan was highlighted in Hannah Montana and 10 Stuff I Hate About You while Pergola made an appearance in That’s Therefore Raven and Miss Behave — before moving all their concentrate onto music. After honing their chops as DJs, the duo started producing their very own music beneath the Phantoms moniker, launching their eponymous instrumental debut EP via OWSLA in 2013. Because of their follow-up, Kaplan and Pergola installed with songwriter and N.Con.C. transplant E.B. Sollis, who helped to steer the task in a far more song-oriented path. The resulting Damaged Halo EP, released in 2015, will be the group’s initial outing for Casablanca Information. A small number of remixes and singles implemented, culminating in the discharge of Phantoms’ public full-length debut in March 2017.
