Peter Vehicle Riper was an designer and musician who caused light and was one of the primary to function in holography. In the past due ’60s, Vehicle Riper and designer Gerry Pethick teamed with laser beam physicist Lloyd Mix (a previous classmate at Cranbrook) to create the first business coping with holographic artwork. Through the ’60s on, Vehicle Riper made up music for his audio and light conditions, music which significantly drew from character and globe music traditions pursuing his graduate research in Tokyo and japan exhibitions and shows that adopted. He offers since performed in Spain, Holland, Canada, N.Con.C., and about California. The past due ’70s discovered him collaborating with dancer Simone Forti; he later on made up music for several installations by Eugenia Balcells, edited a 1994 video by performer Regina Frank, created music for the NASA video A WEEK in Space, and collaborated with efficiency designer Sha Sha Higby. He passed away unexpectedly in November, 1998.
