Peter Silberman

Vocalist/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Peter Silberman was raised in upstate NY and began tinkering with house saving in his past due teens. Silberman had taken particular motivation from records created by the Microphones, and followed a few of their lo-fi methods into his very own homemade sound masterpieces. In 2006, Silberman released his first single recordings beneath the moniker Antlers, as well as the task would gradually morph right into a completely realized and extremely successful indie music group over another 10 years. In 2013, after many years of noisy shows and continuous sonic deluges, Silberman created a sophisticated case of tinnitus that still left him extremely delicate to sound, specifically the audio of his very own speaking. He searched for refuge in the silence of the secluded setting beyond the noisy town and spent weeks in recovery. Enough time spent alone and solitude will be the motivation for the minimal and sparsely organized music on his first genuine solo record, 2017’s Impermanence.
