Peter Racine Fricker

Peter Racine Fricker was a Uk composer and educator. Elevated in London, Fricker went to the Royal University of Music, where he researched with Reginald Owen Morris and Ernest Bullock. After offering in the Royal Atmosphere Force in Globe Battle II, Fricker came back to composition, acquiring lessons with Mátyás Seiber and helping in choral rehearsals. He became a teacher of composition on the Royal University of Music, and was called the movie director of music at Morley University in 1952. His compositions received significant interest in the past due 1940s, notably his Blowing wind Quintet, the String Quartet No. 1, the Symphony No. 1, and various other functions that drew important compliment. In 1964, Fricker was employed as a going to professor on the College or university of California, Santa Barbara, which resulted in his signing up for the faculty in 1970. He was honored being a faculty analysis lecturer in 1979. Fricker also offered as the leader from the Cheltenham International Celebration of Music and Books from 1984 to 1986.
