Peter Pringle grew up in Toronto, where he sang using the Canadian Opera Organization and studied classical piano. He was actually trained Indian music by Ravi Shankar. Pringle started documenting in the middle-’70s; his albums add a self-titled debut in 1975, Magicien (1981), Rainfall upon the ocean (1981), 5th Avenue Blue (1982), Pour une Femme (1982), Souris-Moi (1984), Fantasies (1984), Chansons D’Amour (1985), Family portrait D’un Adieu (1985), Pauvre Casanova (1986), Noel Coward: A Family portrait (1987) and Le Jeu D’Amour (1991).
